For their first anniversary, Stiftung AtemWeg decided to rule a spring campaign in 2011 with our APT all over Germany, in order to create awareness for lung diseases and undertake prevention work. Inside the truck, visitors experienced how important proper breath really is and how to save our lung from diseases. In especially fitted examination booths visitors could go through a lung function test. Furthermore two action towers explain how our lung really works.

From the 1st until the 23th of Mai the prevention truck is approaching 11 major cities in Germany. During their first year Stiftung AtemWeg has been really successful as shown by the growing number of donators and the support from celebrities such as Roland Kaiser, Lisa Martinek, die Huber Buam, Tita von Hardenberg, Nadja Michael or Adoro. Also well known members from the board of trustees support the project, as for instance Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch or the president of the Helmholtz Gemeinschaft, professor Jürgen Mlynek.

In great cooperation with the agency Wilde Beissel von Schmidt GmbH from Berlin, we managed to reach numerous people on the most popular locations in Germany. That is being reaffirmed by the highly grown number of facebook fans of Stiftung Atemweg throughout the tour.
